Doris Adella Foucek, age 95, of Maryville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Liberty Village, Maryville, IL. Doris was born on April 1, 1922 in Stillwell, IL, a daughter of the late Leonard and Gladys (Tanner) Johnson.

Doris was a faithful member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Glen Carbon, IL. She had retired from the State of Illinois Department of Health Services as a clerk in 1999, after fifty years of dedicated service. Doris enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and baking for the many church activities she was involved in. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Doris will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her two husbands, George Cramer and John Foucek; and by one daughter, Alice Fulton.

She is survived by her loving children, George (Jean) Cramer of Marysville, MI, Leonard (Jackie) Martin of Maryville, IL, Kathleen (Tom) Breitweiser of Milton, IL and John (Cheryl) Cramer of Maynard, MA; proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road, Glen Carbon, IL.

In celebration of her life, a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Private interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.

Memorial donations may be given to Alzheimer's Association or to Heartland Hospice and donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
