Patricia Ann Newman, 59 of St. Charles, Missouri and formerly of Edwardsville, Illinois passed away at 6:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Relais Bonne Eau under the loving care of Hospice of Southern Illinois. She was born December 28, 1951 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She worked for Budget Car Rental with many years of dedicated customer service. She was a member of Faith Chapel in St.Charles and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Chuck Newman, whom she married on May 13, 2010; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Kristin Powell of Glen Carbon, Nick and Jen Winkler of Racine, Wisonsin and Chris and Sambriddhi Winkler of Harker Heights, Texas; one daughter, Amanda Winkler of Columbia, Missouri; two grandchildren, Adam and Tyler Powell of Glen Carbon; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Marvin and Bonnie Cox of Prosper, Texas and Frank Cox of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one nephew, Brandon Cox of Prosper, Texas; other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Francis Herbert and Helen Cox Sr. and mother and step-father, Doris (Freiberg) and Herman Lorenz.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Reverend Marvin Cox officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials may be made to Relais Bonne Eau in care of Hospice of Southern Illinois and may be accepted at the funeral home.
